Controversial Headline in July Community Paper Offends A Few, Delights Many... After publishing Community Paper for 19 years, I would think that my readers could trust me that everything I print is GOOD NEWS. That is the premise of the newspaper - to only bring good news about College Park. Consequently, when some readers saw the July, 2008 headline, "COLLEGE PARK WOMAN WAS IN PRISON FOR 48 YEARS!" some people didn't even read the article, they just thought it was a negative story and objected. TRUST ME,  PEOPLE! You should have known the article would be GOOD news. What could be so wrong about a letter from the publisher exclaiming the good news that she was able to quit smoking after 48 years?????
