David Rose, of RE/MAX 200 REALTY, Named a Charter Member of “Top 5 in Real Estate Network®”
Local Realtor Earns Most Prestigious of all Industry Achievements

Reaching the pinnacle of his profession nationally, David Rose of RE/MAX 200 REALTY was accepted as a Charter Member of the Top 5 in Real Estate Network®, the most prestigious of all industry achievements.
More than just a sales-driven recognition, the Top 5 in Real Estate Network® meets a need that heretofore has never been addressed – helping consumers identify the most professional real estate agents in North America. To qualify, each member must first meet a stringent set of criteria, based upon performance, as well as educational and professional skills and service to the consumer.
Members of the Network are carefully selected and managed by RISMedia, which has provided the real estate industry with objective, unbiased news for nearly 30 years. As a Charter Member of the Top 5 Network, Rose is among the first real estate agents to be accepted into this elite organization.
Allan Dalton, the President of RISMedia’s Top 5 Network congratulated Rose for earning this top status within the industry. “David has reached the very highest level of North America’s residential real estate industry. Not only are his professional accomplishments extraordinary, he has long been a true champion for home buyers and sellers in his area. It is a pleasure to welcome David into this elite group of industry leaders.”
According to John Featherston, Chairman of RISMedia, the significance of Top 5 in Real Estate is that consumers deserve full transparency regarding all matters related to the real estate transaction, which often begins with the need to select a highly competent, experienced and results-oriented real estate professional. Top 5 in Real Estate has been established to both empower consumers with leading real estate content through Top 5 members, as well as to ensure that consumers are made fully aware that there is a material difference between average and exceptional real estate professionals.
David Rose has lived in the downtown area of Orlando, Florida for over fifty years. He learned the real estate business from his parents, both of whom were Realtors. Originally licensed in 1968, he left the real estate brokerage business for several years to pursue other interests, while maintaining an active real estate investment portfolio. In 1997 he sold his business and returned full-time, joining RE/MAX 200 REALTY. While at RE/MAX 200 REALTY, Rose has consistently been a top producer thanks to his emphasis on putting his customers’ needs first and his in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market. For more information, call (407) 423-7878 or e-mail David.Rose@Realtor.com.

RISMedia’s Top 5 in Real Estate Network® is a membership network of leading real estate professionals providing leading real estate information to consumers. RISMedia, the leader in real estate information systems, has been providing the industry with news, trends and business development strategies for nearly 30 years through its flagship publication, Real Estate magazine, its leading website, RISMedia.com, and its renowned networking and educational events.

PAYING IT FORWARD

Recently a little College Park girl got a brand new bike, which her Mom (single Mother) bought with some of her income tax return. The girl rode it to the 7-Eleven on S. Edgewater to get a Slurpy. The girl left it outside the store, and unfortunately when she returned it had been stolen.

OPD Officer Debbie Brehens felt so bad for her she bought her a new bike with her own personal money($191). I [Bertie Hunt] didn’t think that Officer Brehens should pay for a new bike, because Debbie is a single Mom too. So, I sent out an e-mail, and David Rose from the College Park Rotary Club contacted me and has arranged for Officer Brehens to be reimbursed for her generous act of kindness. With all the bad things around us, it’s nice to see something good happening.

P.S. the 7-11 has video and we are all hoping the suspect will be caught.

Thanks to Bertie Hunt, Neighborhood Internet Crime Spotters for this inspiring story! If you have a local inspiring story, e-mail it to communitypaper@cfl.rr.com.

The annual Maury Road Cleanup was a huge success!

Members of the Maury Road and Palomar Neighborhood Watch Organizations joined forces to clean Maury Road on the morning of Saturday, April 11. The morning began with a gathering in the parking lot of Lee Middle School where they enjoyed coffee, donuts and camaraderie. Jody Goostree, Keep Orlando Beautiful Coordinator, helped to educate the group on the importance of road cleanups and the many programs offered by the City of Orlando to assist in tree plantings, improve lake water quality, and much more. Nancy Robinson, Orange County School Board Member, was on hand to answer resident’s questions and participate in the clean up efforts. After getting fueled up, the group divided and conquered with half of the participants heading east on Maury Road and the other half heading west. During the two-hour cleanup, more than 125 pounds of litter and debris was collected. With this being the second annual event, the group was twice as large as last year.
According to event organizer, Craig M. O’Neil, “we are so happy to see residents participating in these efforts to beautify our community, protect our lakes, and keep our neighborhoods safe and well maintained. By working together we are making positive changes. Thank you to the City of Orlando for their support in our efforts.”
Special thanks also go out to the Edgewater High School Key Club for participating in this event and supporting the community clean up. The Key Club is a wonderful example for other local students to follow.
