Princeton Street in Orlando will be closed in both directions at the railroad crossing between State Road (S.R.) 527 and Alden Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 5, to 3 a.m. Monday, May 8. The closure is needed to replace the existing SunRail crossing with new concrete panels and asphalt approaches, which will provide a safer and smoother crossing for motorists.
Detour route signage will be placed at key locations in the area to direct drivers around the work zone. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
- Westbound traffic on Princeton Street will be directed to turn left onto Alden Road, right onto Virginia Drive, right onto S.R. 527 north and back to Princeton Street.
- Eastbound traffic on Princeton Street will be directed to turn right onto S.R. 527 south, left onto Virginia Drive, left onto Alden Road and back to Princeton Street.
