Business Spotlight: Let Us Frame It

Jill and Giovanni Vianello

The history of Let Us Fame It is a really a love story. Owners Giovanni and Jill Vianello met and fell in love while working on a Carnival Cruise ship. Giovanni was a deck officer; Jill was a blackjack dealer. It’s safe to say Jill dealt Giovanni a royal flush of hearts.

After their cruise ship adventure ended, they began working with Jill’s father, who fell in love with photography and started a business. Giovanni and Jill worked in the framing area of the business and learned to do custom framing.

Giovanni Vianello grew up in Venice, Italy, and worked in the wood and cabinetry field with elder relatives, so he had some background in working with wood. Eventually, he left the family business and came to Let Us Frame It, then owned by Sam and Cathey Bowers. The Bowers retired 16 years ago, and Giovanni and Jill Vianello acquired the business.

Giovanni Vianello describes the business as a custom frame shop. “We do picture framing, photos, mementos, events like baptisms, shadow boxes and mirrors.”

Let Us Frame It works with local commercial clients too like the Orlando Magic team and Florida Hospital.

According to Vianello, there is a misconception that custom framing must be expensive. “That is not necessarily true,” said Giovanni. “You can have a Lamborghini or a Fiat,” a clear reference to his Italian roots.

The Vianellos live in College Park. “It is homey,” said Giovanni. He loves that he gets to know his customers and interact with the local residents. “And the schools are great,” he added.

Giovanni even rides his bicycle to work from their Bishop Moore–area home. “No I-4!” he said.
