Spring is in the air and shovels are in the ground! How wonderful it was to “break ground” with fellow Edgewater High School graduates, Robert Stuart, Orlando City Commissioner and Nancy Robbinson, Orange County School Board. It is an exciting time to be an Edgewater Eagle and we are all looking forward to seeing the new Edgewater come out of the ground!
Commissioner Robert Stuart and I will be working together to make sure that Maury Road stays safe. There is a community meeting on March 24th in the Edgewater High School Media Center. Maury Road is a County Road but the City and County will be working together to put in sidewalks and make it as safe as possible for students at Lee Middle School and Edgewater High School along with the traveling public.
We had another great “Sunday in the Park” put on by the College Park Neighborhood Association. You have one of the most active HOA’s in Orange County and it is always a pleasure to see the families of College Park come out and enjoy some fun. It was great to see all of you who dropped by our booth to say hello.
As always, if I or any one of my staff can be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to call us at 407-836-7350 or email us at district5@ocfl.net
