Tap Room at Dubsdread Wins More Awards
Course redo has not slowed down popular College Park eatery.

Tap Room at Dubsdread, College Park's popular restaurant and catering facility located at the Historic Dubsdread Golf Course was selected by The Knot bridal magazine as a
best place to have a wedding in Central Florida – as selected by recent brides.

Cathie Ashby, Director of Catering, attributes their success to the truly unique ambiance. The Dubsdread Ballroom offers along with outstanding food, and service that is professional, yet personal. Ms. Ashby says "You simply can not get our ambiance elsewhere in Central Florida – built in 1923 it is genuinely old fashioned with high ceilings and oak beams. We couldn't be more thrilled our brides voted us #1."

To make it all the sweeter, The Tap Room recently collected its second
Orlando Magazine "Best Of" trophy and third AOL CityGuide "Best Of " award on top of its recent Sentinel Foodie Award, and runner up in the WESH Channel 9 contest for best venue for weddings.

But 2007 wasn't supposed to be this way. All this happening at a restaurant many feared would be badly hurt by the extensive reconstruction at the Dubsdread Golf Course has made this a very rewarding year indeed.

"I think if you offer exceptional food with truly friendly, professional service people will support you even if construction is going on around you" says Barbara Teal, General Manager. "Certainly we were worried with the course being remodeled, but winning all these honors has made it a great year for us – and we can't wait for 2008."

Tap Room at Dubsdread is featuring Fresh Seafood Specials every night, and they are open daily for lunch and dinner at 549 W. Par Street, phone 407-650-0100. See their website at www.TapRoomAtDubsdread.com.
