Feed The Need Hurricane Party a Huge Success!
The 7th Annual "Feed The Need Hurricane Party" was held at Tap Room at Dubsdread on October 4, 2007. The event offered Tap Room hospitality, a silent and live auction with special guest auctioneer Marla Weech, news anchor for local Channel 6 WKMG.

The beneficiary of the Program is the Pantry for Family and Emergency Services, and the idea is to raise money to stock the pantry shelves as we enter the holiday season. The Pantry is a division of the Christian Service Center and focuses on helping families who are temporarily down on their luck and need a boost back up. According to Robert Stuart, Executive Director, this annual event "not only raises over $20,000 to stock the shelves, it also exposes this unique program to people who would otherwise be unaware of the work we do."
