Sixteenth Annual
SUNDAY IN THE PARK
March 25, 2007 - Noon to 5 p.m. in Dartmouth Park

SUNDAY IN THE PARK is an annual event that brings College Park merchants and thousands of College Park residents together for a day of fun and entertainment. Vendors line the park with all kinds of items from bows to snow cones. There are games galore for the kids, including pony rides, moonwalk face painting, and carnival games.

Entertainment was provided by: VFW 2093, Starlight Theater, Central Florida Performing Star Kids, Mr. Richard, Movement Arts, Bob Kealing with the Kerouac Presentation, Princeton Elementary Chorus, and Avanti Dance.

One of the highlights of the day is always "Best Brownies in College Park" contest. Individuals bring their best baking efforts to be judged by a panel of judges. After the contest the brownies are offered for sale - a premium price is charged for the ones judged "Best Brownies in College Park." 2007 Best Brownies in College Park" winners are:
Allie Loveland - 1st place; Matthew Loveland - second place; and Cathleen Wallace - third place.
